The Louis Armstrong Tribute Concert with the Hot Peppers Jazz band

Louis Daniel Armstrong (August 4 1901- July 6 1971) nicknamed ‘Satchmo’, Satch’ and ‘Pops’ was an American jazz and blues trumpeter and vocalist. He was among the most influential figures in jazz during his career that spanned five decades and several eras in the history of the genre. His influence crossed musical genres, with inductions into the Downbeat Jazz Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame, among others. He was an International musical icon.

The Majestic Theatre Welcomes the Noosa Jazz Club Members and Guests

To enjoy your concert experience here are a few things to know: 

  • The Majestic Theatre offers a full bar service and some light snacks such as chocolates and crisps.
  • Seating is at allocated tables with chairs and some chairs at the back of the room without tables.
  • You are welcome to bring your own snacks but please note this is a licensed venue and bringing alcohol is not permitted. 
  • There are seats in the Mezzanine area upstairs and if booking this area please note that there is no lift for upstairs access.
