Jazz on the Terrace

Everyone knows what ‘let’s meet on the terrace means’ when you are in Noosa – it can only be Gympie Terrace!

Lunch at 250 Grammi on the Terrace to celebrate the sight, the sound and the taste of being by the river will have the right combination for an entertaining lunch experience.
The live jazz from the Costal Jazz Trio will create a smooth jazz sound that includes favourites and classics that are just right for a long, leisurely lunch.

250 Grammi is a restaurant concept come to life with Simple. Proper. Italian. Pasta made fresh daily and combined with a selection of dishes to complement an authentic Italian experience with a twist.

Noosa Chorale & Australian Jazz Ensemble

Ain’t misbehavin’
This is a musical extravaganza that brings to life a selection of jazz favourites in a unique combination of the seventy Chorus voices and the Jazz Ensemble.
Choose from an evening performance or a matinee both at The J Theatre.

Smokin’ Jazz at Sunset with Big Kitty

A swing band with an explosion of smokin’ jazz and sultry rhythm ‘n’ blues who have been tearing the roof off Brisbane’s jump joints since 2004 – always loved, always books up quickly – don’t miss it.

The perfect backdrop for this red hot event is the Land & Sea Brewery in Noosaville. It will be busy, noisy and fun. This combination of smokin’ hot jazz, beers & wines and a tasty bar menu on offer means that you need to book early!

Sunday 30 August – 12.30pm

Tom Baker Tribute Band

A tribute concert at the Majestic Theatre in Pomona to recognise the unique talent of a great musician.

As an individual and as a musician, Tom Baker had a dedication of the highest order. He left a gap in Australian jazz that continues to be acknowledged by remembering just how much was taken when he died on tour in Holland at only 49 years of age.

Tues 1 Sept – Sunset Cruise & Dinner Concert

Noosa River Ferry Cruise & Noosa Boathouse Dinner

This popular event returns again in 2026 – always a sell out and one of the ‘must do’ events of the Festival with live jazz on board. River Cruise with live jazz on board and a dinner concert at The Boathouse.

Wednesday 2 September – Lunch

Jazz at the Beach

Take off to enjoy this perfect combination – live jazz over lunch at Peregian Beach Hotel (PBH)

Lively jazz, a delicious 3 course lunch and the gentle sea breeze is all it takes to create this cool, coastal combination for a brand new jazz festival event.

Thursday 3 September – Evening

Stevenson’s Rockets Jazz Band

One of the most exciting groups in the Melbourne jazz scene come to the festival to play at Beach Rd Hotel in Noosa Junction.

The Rockets play a diverse repertoire of jazz tunes and songs from the 20’s & 30’s including the great composers and a selection of hot classic jazz tunes.

Friday 4 September – Lunch

Lunch by the Water at Lucio’s Marina Restaurant

Long lunch Italian style with plates to share and designed to feel communal, abundant and unmistakably Italian. Enjoy the live jazz that will be played throughout the lunch event.

Saturday 5 September – 6.00 to 9.00pm

The Noosa Jazz Party

Returns to the J Theatre in the traditional way with all of the musicians combining in ensembles to perform.

Sunday 6 September – Afternoon

Lions Park Community Concert

A Father’ Day Free community Jazz Concert
Everyone is invited to get together to have a picnic and listen to some entertaining jazz. Bring your chairs and picnic blankets and spread out with family and friends beside the river on Gympie Terrace next to the Yacht Club.

This is a FREE event and you can register to attend.
